For two decades, Kamela has contributed creatively to the worlds of brand identity, communication design and environmental graphic design for businesses and organizations, both large and small. Kamela has successfully collaborated with brand conscious companies the likes of Exxon, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, The University of Texas, Presbyterian Hospital, Tustin Market Place, Blockbuster, Del Mar Racetrack, Hewlett Packard, Dallas Fair Park and Laredo International Airport.

Prior to founding Jankedesign in 1999, Kamela put her messaging and design savvy to work in various strategic design, planning and management capacities for corporate entities such as Graphic Solutions, David Robinson Design, McCulley Design Group, HOK Architects and Disney. As a result, numerous visual communication projects in the areas of entertainment, retail, mixed-use, civic, transportation, health care, corporate and brand development bear the mark of her creative talents.

Kamela received her BA in Design, with a minor in Package Design, from Texas Tech University. She has received accolades from the Society of Environmental Graphic Design and American Graphic Design, and her work has been published in "Print" and "Identity" magazines, as well as "This Way: Signage Design for Public Spaces".

Kamela plays a multi-disciplinary design and management role in each Jankedesign project, while directing the firm's business planning and development.
